Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Singapore, and Chamber of Software Industry and IT Services of Argentina (CESSI), forge stronger ties with the signing of a memorandum of understanding

SINGAPORE — The Latin American Chamber of Commerce Singapore (LatAmCham) and the Chamber of Software Industry and IT Services of Argentina (CESSI)  have formalized their commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony took place on July 15th, 2020, in Singapore, marking a pivotal moment in the collaboration between these two influential organizations.

Representatives from LatAmCham, led by Angela Torres H., CEO & Founder of LatAmCham, and CESSI, represented by Sergio Candelo, President of CESSI, gathered at the signing ceremony to solidify the partnership.

The MOU signifies a commitment to strengthen economic and trade relations between Singapore and Argentina, with a particular focus on fostering cooperation in the Tech industry. Key components of the agreement include:

Market Access and Trade Facilitation: LatAmCham and CESSI will collaborate to identify and explore avenues for expanding market access for Argentinean Tech companies in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region. Efforts will be made to streamline trade processes and facilitate the exchange of relevant market information.

Business Networking and Promotion: The agreement emphasizes the importance of creating opportunities for businesses from both regions to connect and collaborate. Joint initiatives such as trade missions, business forums, and promotional events will be organized to facilitate networking and partnership-building.

Research and Development: LatAmCham and CESSI will explore collaborative efforts in research and development to enhance the quality and competitiveness of Argentinean Tech Companies in the Singaporean market. This includes knowledge-sharing, technology transfer, and joint projects aimed at improving agricultural practices.

The Chamber of Software and Computer Services Companies (CESSI) is an entity that brings together companies dedicated to the development, production, marketing, and implementation of software and all variants of services throughout the Argentine Republic.
